Even idyllic locations in America have some percentage of their population that is at risk of homelessness. Sometimes there is simply not enough affordable housing for low wage workers in low-skill jobs who support the engine of the economy. Sometimes a trick of fate puts a family already on the edges of financial stability out of their home and into the street. The Interfaith Hospitality Network is a volunteer organization that helps many of these people re-connect to a stable income and housing arrangement.
