The Drue Chryst Gallery is proud to announce the recent acquisition of original oil paintings by the distinguished, Belgian artist Merel Van Beeumen. Merel, as she is known, was born and studied art in Antwerp, where she has lived the majority of her life.
Merel draws inspiration from nature, from her travels in Africa, Tuscany, Spain, Portugal, and India. Leading and suggestive power is typical for her artistic expression. In this way she gets to the soul and heart of her themes very delicately and sensitively. Her paintings are full of subtle fascination, spells, and hidden meanings, which cause quite a few happy emotions and overwhelm the spectator. She paints her own colourful world, unattached to any moment or school. Her message is wonder.
Merel has exhibited in many fine galleries throughout Europe, NYC and Aspen, Co.
The Drue Chryst Gallery is located at 21 White Deer Plaza, Lake Mohawk Hours are 10 AM to 6 PM Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, 12 to 5 Sunday and Tuesday. 973-729-0609
