Karen and I met Dr. Holman at the Mystic Springs, FL - Airstream campsite - a few weeks ago. It is an interesting story. The trailer is a magnificent antique!
Not on tape - but the Dr. did explain the sewerage system. Just a flush pipe to the ground. (in the old days) they backed the trailer to its position. Marked the spot for the latrine. Pulled up to expose the area. Dug the hole. Backed again into place. Before leaving the site - the hole was covered with lime and dirt.
