According to Vic Campbell, a tunnel would save the current look and “small town feel” of the downtown Milton area.
Vic-Envisions the tunnel would begin at Stewart St and End just past Ward-basin rd on US 90 in East Milton.
A former Navy officer, film maker, and the author of Junction : County Road 197, Campbell has been in the news recently advocating for a grocery store in Chumuckla Florida.

I don’t think a tunnel would be feasible due to the water table
How about a couple more "No Right Turns" as entering the town during High Traffic Hours. People could go a few blocks further in a slightly bigger intersection to allow the flow of traffic to continue during peak hours.
